V-Wave Energy

The idea of combining wind and wave energy seems beneficial because financial cost and energy pay-back time decrease while other aspects like structural properties, installation, operation and maintenance lead to more advantages or added value. The novelty of this technology allowed the micro plant integration using several of the vertical wind-wave turbine configurations. The modularity of the device can makes up to higher demand of the customer thus makes it is more suitable in isolated area which need in small scale micro power plant.

The advantages:

Currently, there are more than 130,000 populations in the coastal region of the Malaysian islands. With volatile fossil fuel costs which are most likely to increase in the long-run, therefore this technology have good prospect to exploit local alternative renewable for the sustainable electricity supply.
