Glass-based optical fibres have shown great potential for use in ionizing radiation dosimeter sensors.
Compared to the commercially available sensors, the optical fibres can measure a significantly wider range of doses from micro to Mega-Gray with high and linear-sensitivity, higher spatial resolution and facilitate both -real-time and offline monitoring services.
- Wide range of applications such as personal monitoring, radiology and radiotherapy.
