1. Technology Overview

The present invention disclosed a single-step dual-measurement lateral flow Immun sensor which is able to detect the haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and the total haemoglobin in whole blood samples simultaneously in a single lateral flow immunosensor. The single-step dual-measurement lateral flow immune sensor comprising: a lateral flow test strip, 3 types of capturing antibodies selected from a group consisting of anti-HbA1c antibodies; anti-hemoglobin antibodies; secondary polyclonal rabbit-anti-goat IgG antibodies; and detecting antibodies selected from polyclonal anti-hemoglobin IgG antibodies conjugated with gold nanoparticles. Besides, the single-step dual-measurement lateral flow immune sensor  is able to quantitatively detect the ratio of the HbA1c to the total haemoglobin in the whole blood samples by using lateral flow colorimetric reader.
