1. Technology Overview

The present invention disclosed a method for treating batik textile wastewater. The method consists of three important sequential steps which manage to produce treated batik textile wastewater with final remaining of the chemical oxygen demand (COD), silicate, dye molecules and other organic fraction of batik textile wastewater at a safe and permitted level according to the national regulatory values of EQA 1974, for Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluents) Regulation 2009, under the Fifth Schedule for Standards A and B (Department of Environment, 2010).
